Matbronze Café is the garden café at Matbronze, the wildlife art gallery and bronze foundry on Kifaru Lane in Karen. Tables sit in a lush, peaceful garden among striking bronze sculptures of Kenyan wildlife, which makes breakfast or lunch here feel like a small escape. Expect excellent coffee, healthy breakfasts and light, fresh daytime dishes, and leave time to walk through the gallery. It's open daily until late afternoon.
"Amazing place! The decorations, scenery…just so beautiful. I got so excited that I forgot to take the photos of the food which was also delicious (healthy breakfast). The coffee is excellent- never had any bad coffee in Kenya. This place is a perfect spot when you want to take time away from the chaos in the city. We made a stop after visiting the Giraffe Center. There’s also an art gallery in the same property. Definitely worth visiting, even just for a coffee."
"I came across this place online and almost overlooked it since it’s not one of those overly hyped spots but that’s exactly what makes it special. It feels like a true hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. The setting is beautiful, and incredibly well maintained. You can tell real care goes into the space. The atmosphere is calm, a refreshing escape from the usual Nairobi chaos. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Now the food is absolutely worth it. Great quality, generous portions (and trust me, I don’t say that lightly). I left fully satisfied, which is rare. Please don’t change that. What really surprised me was the art gallery. After such a great experience, I was more than happy to spend extra on some of the handcrafted pieces a unique touch that elevates the whole visit. This place easily makes my top 5. Peaceful, beautiful, and memorable. I’ll definitely be back soon keep doing what you’re doing."
