Violations of acceptable use may result in immediate IP-level rate limiting, blocking from the Service, and where warranted, legal recourse under Kenyan law.
6. Restaurant Listings & Accuracy
- Accuracy Disclaimer: While we work hard to keep listings up to date, restaurants regularly update their operating hours, menus, pricing, and seating availability without prior notice. Always verify critical information directly with the venue before visiting.
- Editorial Independence: Inclusion on Nairobi Feast is based on curated editorial discovery. A listing does not constitute an endorsement, health warranty, or safety certification of any venue.
- Listing Updates: Restaurant owners, managers, and culinary partners can request updates, corrections, or partnership details by contacting our team at [email protected].
7. Reservations & Table Bookings
Where available, reservations initiated on Nairobi Feast are powered by DineBook (dinebook.co), a table management system operated by Naifeast Digital.
- Intermediary Role: Nairobi Feast acts strictly as a discovery and intermediary booking channel. The reservation contract and dining experience remain strictly between you and the restaurant.
- Confirmations: A booking request is confirmed once acknowledged by the restaurant or confirmed through DineBook.
- Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellation terms and grace periods are set individually by each restaurant. Diners are encouraged to notify the venue promptly if plans change.
- Booking Details: You are responsible for providing an accurate phone number and email address so the restaurant can communicate table readiness and booking updates.
8. AI Mode & Discovery Features
Nairobi Feast features AI Mode — an intelligent conversational search tool that helps diners discover restaurants using natural language.
- AI Engine: AI Mode queries are processed using Anthropic's Claude models against our verified Nairobi dining database.
- Browser-Native Speech: Voice search operates locally in your browser using the standard Web Speech API. We do not record, store, or transmit your voice audio to external voice servers.
- Informational Suggestions: AI-generated recommendations are suggestions for discovery and inspiration. They do not constitute factual guarantees of table availability, pricing, or dietary safety.
- Privacy First: Your individual search queries are never used to train public machine learning models.
9. Group Dining (Feast with Friends)
Feast with Friends enables groups to collaborate on dining decisions by shortlisting venues and sharing an interactive voting link.
- No Sign-Up Required: Group dining links work seamlessly for all participants without requiring accounts or app downloads.
- Temporary Sessions: Group voting sessions and shortlisted items are maintained temporarily and may expire after the event window.
- Respectful Use: You agree not to distribute malicious links or spam group voting sessions.
10. Newsletter & Communications
