Pronto is a busy CBD favourite with several branches in the city centre, including this one near City Hall on Wabera Street, plus Standard Street and Aga Khan Walk. Plates of Kenyan and international favourites come in generous portions at reasonable prices, the milkshakes (salted caramel especially) have a following, and the upper floors have views over the city. It opens at 6 am, making it handy for breakfast before work. Note that there are quite a few stairs.

"The food at all Pronto restaurants is always so great and I was so glad I found plantains in this one (Most of them just have it in the menu but once you order you are told it’s not available). Our foods came out fast and we all enjoyed our meals. 4 stars because there was a lot of miscommunication with our waiter whom we felt was doing what he feels like instead of what we asked him. All in all a good experience."
